Maharashtra HSC 12th Result 2025 Declared: Direct Link, Topper List, and Key Highlights

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has officially announced the Class 12 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination results today, May 5, 2025, at 1:00 PM IST. Over 14 lakh students who appeared for the exams can now access their results online.

How to Check Maharashtra HSC 12th Result 2025

Students can follow these steps to view and download their scorecards:

1.    Visit the official result portal: mahresult.nic.in or mahahsscboard.in.

2.    Click on the “HSC Examination Result 2025” link.

3.    Enter your Roll Number and Mother’s First Name in the respective fields.

4.    Click on the “Submit” button.

5.    Your result will be displayed on the screen.

6.    Download and save the mark sheet for future reference. 

Alternatively, students can check their results via SMS:

•    Type MHHSC <Seat Number> and send it to 57766. Please note that the online result is provisional. Students are advised to collect the original mark sheets from their respective schools.

Maharashtra HSC Result 2025

•    Total Students Appeared: Over 14 lakh.

•    Result Declaration Date: May 5, 2025.

•    Official Websites: mahresult.nic.in, mahahsscboard.in.

•    Result Access: Online portal, SMS, and DigiLocker. 

The board has implemented strict anti-cheating measures this year, resulting in the reporting of 360 cases of malpractice during the examination period. Enhanced surveillance and digital verification systems were in place to ensure the integrity of the exams. 

Topper List and Pass Percentage

As of now, the official topper list and detailed pass percentage statistics for 2025 have not been released. However, based on previous years' trends:

•    2024 Overall Pass Percentage: 93.37%

o    Girls: 95.44%

o    Boys: 91.60%

•    Top Performing Division: Konkan with 97.51% pass rate. 

Once the board releases the detailed statistics and topper information for 2025, this section will be updated accordingly.

Next Steps for Students

•    Higher Education Admissions: Students can apply for undergraduate programs or professional courses based on their marks and career aspirations.

•    Re-evaluation/Rechecking: If dissatisfied with the marks, students can apply for re-evaluation through the official website.

•    Supplementary Exams: Students who fail in one or more subjects can register for supplementary exams conducted by MSBSHSE.

•    Collect Original Marksheet: The online result is provisional; collect your original mark sheet from your school.
