MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, MDS, Nursing Admissions 2024 in Puducherry! Here is complete fee structure
The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) in Puducherry has announced a revised fee structure for MBBS, MD, MS, MDS, BDS, and Nursing admissions in the Union Territory for this year.
On July 18, 2024, Hon’ble Justice S. Kannammal (Retd.), former Judge of the Madras High Court and Chairman of the Fee Committee in Puducherry, issued an order regarding the fee revision for PG Medical (Clinical & Non-Clinical), PG Dental (Clinical & Para Clinical), UG MBBS, UG Dental, and B.Sc. (Nursing) programs in unaided private self-financed medical, dental, and paramedical colleges in Puducherry. Following this order, CENTAC has released the approved fee structure for the academic years 2024-25 and 2025-26.

IMPORTANT POINTS
- The fee structure includes the annual tuition fee but does not cover additional costs such as books, necessary equipment, hostel fees, transportation, or food expenses.
- Institutes are strictly prohibited from charging any fees beyond those set by the Fees Committee. Any deviation from this will be considered a violation of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India’s orders, warranting strict action by the Government of Puducherry, the National Medical Commission (NMC), and Pondicherry University. Punitive measures for violations may include the withdrawal of NMC approval, hefty penalties from the concerned university, and cancellation of affiliation.
- The fee structure prescribed by the Fee Committee represents the maximum allowable fee for each course. Institutions may choose to set a lower fee structure than the one prescribed, should they wish to do so.
