The available seats are divided into Regular State Quota, Payment State Quota, NRI/NRI Sponsored and Management Quota, depending on the type of college and seat.

The 2026-27 seat matrix provides college-wise details of seats under UR, EWS, OBC, MBC, SC, ST and STA categories, making it important for NEET-qualified candidates to understand the seat distribution before filling their choices.

Rajasthan BVSc & AH Counselling 2026: Choice Filling

Choice filling is one of the most important stages of the admission process. Candidates are required to carefully select and lock their preferred college and seat type, such as Regular, Payment or Management seats, wherever applicable.

According to the RAJUVAS booklet, once choices are locked, candidates cannot modify or change them. Therefore, students should check the college, seat type, category and fee structure before final submission.

Important Points Before Locking Choices

01  Select the preferred college and seat type carefully.
02  Check the applicable category, quota and fee structure
03  Review all choices before submitting the final preferences.
04  Remember that locked choices cannot be modified or changed

Registration alone does not guarantee seat allotment. If a candidate registers but does not fill the required college preferences, a seat will not be allotted.

Candidates must carry the required original documents for verification. The important documents include the following:

As per the direction mentioned in the booklet, if State Quota seats remain vacant even after completion of three counselling rounds, such seats may be filled by eligible candidates from other states by treating them equivalent to Management Quota seats, subject to the prevailing rules, VCI eligibility requirements and applicable guidelines.

This provision can be important for candidates from outside Rajasthan who are looking for BVSc & AH admission opportunities in the state.
