Torrent Group to Build 800-Bed Hospital and Medical College in South Gujarat at ₹910 Crore

South Gujarat is set to receive a major healthcare and medical education project with the development of an 800-bed hospital and a 150-seat MBBS medical college in Vyara, Tapi district. The project is being undertaken by the UNM Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Torrent Group, in partnership with the Gujarat government under a public-private partnership model.
