NIRF 2025 Rankings: India's Top Colleges Across Disciplines – Global Perspectives

With the launch of the NIRF 2025 rankings on 3rd September 2025 by the Ministry of Education, the Indian higher education scene is gaining a new focus. The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) scores institutions based on various attributes, including teaching, research, graduation, outreach and perception, and provides a reliable source of data to students, professionals, and educators. The rankings this year indicate the dominance of IITs, IIMs, and AIIMS, besides an increase in the number of private institutions. These rankings provide information on the best colleges in India 2025 in areas such as MBBSBDS, EngineeringLaw, and Management to young professionals aged 25-60 years interested in pursuing a career. But what about these Indian giants as far as the world is concerned? Based on international standards, such as QS World University Rankings 2025 and Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2025, this blog will discuss the best of NIRF and its world ranking, which can help you make proper choices in education and career directions.

These Indian schools are bright in terms of affordability and great numbers of patients in the training, but they are weak in terms of international research reference compared with Harvard or Oxford.

Excellence in Dental Sciences (BDS) NIRF 2025
