CUET UG Result 2024 Release
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the results for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2024. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check and download their CUET UG results from the official website — exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG.
This year, the CUET UG exam was held between May 15 and May 29. To access the final answer key, students need to log in using their application number and date of birth. A total of 13,47,618 students registered for CUET UG 2024, including 7.17 lakh male candidates, 6.30 lakh female candidates, and 7 transgender students.
Steps to Download CUET UG Result 2024
- Visit the official website – exams.nta.ac.in
- Click on the CUET UG 2024 link on the homepage
- You will be redirected to a new page
- Enter your application number and date of birth
- The result will appear on your screen
- Download and save the result for future reference
Scoring and Marking Scheme
- Correct Answer: For each correct answer, candidates will be awarded 5 marks.
- Incorrect Answer: For each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
- Unanswered/Marked for Review: These questions will not be marked zero.
If more than one option or all options are found correct for any question, candidates will be awarded 5 marks for that question. Conversely, if all the options are incorrect or the question is dropped, candidates who attempted the question will receive full 5 marks.
Important Updates
The result for CUET UG 2024 was initially scheduled to be declared on June 30 but was delayed due to complications arising from NTA’s NEET controversies this year, including issues related to paper leaks and grace marking. Additionally, UGC NET and CSIR UGC NET exams were also canceled due to fears of a paper leak.
